Over the past 20 years Niagara College and the Many Hands Project have been impacting the community through the renovation of non-profit organizations across the Niagara Region; bringing awareness and developing community pride. As the project has evolved over the past 20 years, the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Sport is announcing a new direction for the program. There are many non-profits that could use alternative levels of support and the Many Hands Project has positioned itself to help these organizations.
Your community of volunteers/staff and the students in the Event Management Post Grad Program will be working with organizations under the Many Hands Project initiative to provide a 1-2 day facility rejuvenation. Small upgrades could include a new coat of paint, new flooring, a new look to the outdoor space of your facility or other potential projects that will fall within a budget of approximately $5,000. Alternatively, there may be items on your wish list that could improve your programming; we invite you to present that list. These initiatives are now an element of our new direction.
Completing the application will enable you to present your plans to the key leadership of the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Sport and the faculty/students of the Event Management program for consideration. It is the goal of the project to rejuvenate your space and/or programming to provide you with a deeper sense of pride and passion for the imperative services you provide the diverse citizens of the greater Niagara Region.
