The Many Hands Project Groundbreaking Ceremony was a Great Success!

This past Friday, January 16, 2015, was a wonderful milestone for the Many Hands Project and this year’s recipient, Strive Niagara. The Many Hands Project Groundbreaking Ceremony was a media event signalling the beginning of the renovations at the facility.

The Many Hands Project team was joined by Colin Robinson (Coordinator of the Construction Techniques and Renovation Technician-Construction programs) and his team. They immediately began their construction efforts once the event concluded.

A HUGE ‘thank you’ goes out to Canadian Tire Bank, who presented the Many Hands Project with a cheque for $5000.00. This is their 18th annual year as lead sponsor and their role in the community is truly outstanding.

The Many Hands Project team would also like to specially thank all of the local and Niagara College dignitaries, sponsors and media outlets that came out to support the initiative. The project would not be able to thrive without you. Check out our Media Coverage page to read and watch all of the stories from the day. The Many Hands Project team is extremely grateful for the amount of media coverage this year.

Here are some highlights from the event! And don’t forget to check out the 2015 Fundraisers page to check out our upcoming events. Our first event will be an exciting League of Legends of Legends Tournament!
